Urdu Name : Saqmoonia
Description: The resin is a powerful and drastic cathartic, diuretic and hepatic. Useful in constipation and flatulence. It is generally combined with other cathartics to diminish its action and prevent griping. Both the Greeks and the Arabians prescribed it for gout and rheumatism.
Recommended Dosage: 250 mg to 750 mg powder.
Contraindication: In inflammatory conditions of the alimentary canal. Should not be used for an extended period of time.
