Description: The raisins are a good source of bioflavonoids (Vitamin P), which are known to be useful in such conditions as purpura, capillary bleeding in diabetes, oedema and inflammation from injury, radiation damage and atherosclerosis. Catechins and anthocyanogenic tannins present in grapes possess bioflavonoid activity. They are considered antispasmodic, blood purifier, cooling, demulcent, digestive, diuretic, haemostatic, slightly laxative, nutritive and stomachic and are used as an astringent in throat infections. Also useful in sinus, anaemia and sluggish liver. Tones the heart and improves blood circulation thereby preventing fainting.

Recommended Dosage: Dried Fruit : 5 to 10 g. Fresh Juice : 20 to 50 ml.
