Stress is a part of day to day living. As college students you may experience stress meeting academic demands, adjusting to a new living environment, or developing friendships. The stress you experience is not necessarily harmful. Mild forms of stress can act as a motivator and energizer. However, if your stress level is too high, medical and social problems can result. A state of long term stress can weaken the immune system and thus sets in motion a set of bodily responses that can lead to a number of serious health problems including colds, cancer, stress increased risk of a heart attack, anxiety, psychological disorders, depression, immune system suppression, digestion problems, elevated blood pressure, higher cholesterol levels, fatigue, asthma and similar stress related diseases.
Stresonil is a blend of herbs that are highly esteemed as rejuvenators. Useful in stress and anxiety. Restores normalcy after a long-term illness or stress. Each 500 mg capsule contains:
Nepeta cataria (Billilotan) 50 mg.
Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi) 50 mg.
Centella asiatica (Brahmi) 75 mg.
Lavandula stoechas (Dharu) 75 mg.
Nardostachys jatamansi (Jatamansi) 100 mg.
Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) 150 mg.
INDICATIONS : Stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, mental irritability, mood fluctuations, restlessness and nervous tension.
CONTRAINDICATIONS : None
SIDE EFFECTS : None
DOSAGE : 1 or 2 capsules twice daily with water. Continue use of this product at the recommended dosage as long the above mentioned indications are obviously present. As symptoms subside, begin to reduce dosage accordingly. Maintain product use for some weeks even if no further symptoms are present. Do not exceed recommended dosage.
DIETARY ADVICE : Avoid caffeine, alcohol, smoking, sugar, salt and fat. Eat a meal high in carbohydrates and fiber. Eat more vegetables. Important nutrients in the anti stress diet include zinc, which can be found in seafood such as oysters, whole wheat, nuts, seeds, eggs and lean meats. If you are not sensitive to dairy products, include cheese and yogurt in your anti stress diet. Avoid all refined, burnt, barbecued and fried food.
