Herbal Supplements Name 2 : Liv-On

The liver plays a complex role in many critical functions of the body. A one-word summation of its task could be “Detoxification”. It is the largest gland found in the body. Toxins come from variety of sources. They come from the environment, the content of our bowels, the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe. If you are exposed to chemicals or cigarette smoke, it is your liver’s job to clean up the toxins before they do damage. The liver removes toxins in three ways: It filters the blood, it neutralises toxins by excreting fat-soluble toxins with cholesterol through making bile and it breaks down toxins with enzymes in a two-step process usually referred to as phase I and phase II detoxification. It breaks down the complex molecules into simpler and usable fragments, retains the useful ones and passes the unwanted products to the excretory system from where it is thrown out of the body. It also metabolises drugs, destroys the toxins released by the pathogens and protects our body from damage. It also helps in storage of vitamins. Alcohol and most of the chemotherapeutic agents cause liver damage. Liver dysfunction is indicated by lassitude, inactivity or inertness, no desire to take food or total aversion to fatty foods.

Liv-On is an all-natural blend of herbal extracts found to protect and restore the function of your liver while balancing your immune system. Also protects the liver from damage associated with autoimmunity, inflammation, oxidation, all kinds of toxins and prevents hepatic damage. Used as a daily health supplement, it keeps the liver functioning at its best and promotes growth, improves appetite and promotes digestion and assimilation of food. It can be used as a routine medicine for liver protection against alcohol, drugs and toxins and to stay healthy.

Eat a high-fiber diet to eliminate toxins. Eat a wide variety of nutrient-rich foods, including foods high in antioxidants (vitamin C, beta carotene and vitamin E) and high in B vitamins, calcium, and trace minerals to protect the liver from damage and help it do its job.
